2023 season close &
2024 season news!
The 2023 Season has come to a close! The INSTALLATION SPACE is eternally thankful to all the artists, visitors, supporters, suppliers, and friends for making this year a great success!
In addition to a wonderful calendar of art, this past year has brought with it some big changes. After six years of exhibiting dynamic experimental installation art by regional artists, and bringing other unique programming to Eagle Street, I am excited to announce that I will be handing over the keys to two-time INSTALLATION SPACE exhibiting artist, Pamela Hersch, who will be relocating from Boston to North Adams this winter.
With Pamela as the new host, the gallery will remain INSTALLATION SPACE but will operate a bit differently. Pamela will be partnering with the Walkaway House, a project conceived and managed by Carolyn Clayton and Ben Westbrook to provide physical space and opportunities for visiting artists and the local arts community to make meaningful work and connections in downtown North Adams.
For much of the year, INSTALLATION SPACE will host artists who participate in the Walkaway House’s Center of Gravity Residency. Between sessions, the gallery will be available for workshops and exhibitions.
Please stay tuned for more information and residency details from Pamela and the Walkaway House!
